DJ Mae grew up in the Bay Area hip-hop dance and DJ scene. After high school, she attended UC Irvine and helped found one of the most well know Cali hip-hop dance crews, Kaba Modern. Later, she established herself as a pediatric hygienist specializing in children with special needs. When she longed to go back to her creative roots, she hit up her friends, DJ Chrismixx and DJ Alvin C. They took her under their wings and gave her a start as an opening DJ for them under Swag Entertainment. She later founded her own DJ company, 125 Events. Her DJ style mixes old skool favorites with recent hits and remixes, and always brings a little girly flair that's different than most DJs out there. You can catch her DJing at private events, nightclubs, and GROOV3 all over California. You might also catch her popping in to dance a GROOV3 class too!
