Originally from Massachusetts, Zoe Welch’s first love and obsession has always been dance. Dancing since the age of 5, she began teaching at age 16 while simultaneously competing in jazz, tap, ballet and modern with the Dancearts of Columbia Company in Missouri. She continued her studies of dance technique and history at San Francisco State University and SF Lines Dance Academy before moving to Los Angeles, where her passion for dance and fitness encouraged her to begin teaching Ballet Barre, in addition to a variety of Adult and Children's dance classes. You can find her teaching Barre and Children's Ballet/Hip Hop classes all over LA, in addition to assisting John "Havic" Gregory for Adult Hip Hop at the famed EDGE Performing Arts Academy in Hollywood, Your Neighborhood Studio in Culver City and LA DanceFit in West LA. She has enjoyed continued success working with students of all ages to encourage, motivate and share with them her love of dance and appreciation of fitness and health. When Zoe discovered GROOV3 it was an instant love connection! The combination of fun hip hop choreography, fantastic music and a welcoming community was just what she’d been searching for. She feels blessed to be a part of the GROOV3 team and is thrilled for the opportunity to grow with such a unique, loving and motivational family. Zoe’s enthusiasm is contagious, and she is dedicated to sharing that passion and uplifting energy with every class she teaches.
