DJ Alvin C fell in love with DJing during his freshman year of high school when he got his first pair of Technics 1200’s. He began doing house parties and school dances. Nowadays you can catch him playing at Corporate Events, Weddings and Night Clubs around the Bay Area. Oh, and GROOV3 classes on every other Monday night and every Saturday morning.
Prior to the digital era, DJ Alvin C developed his music collection buying vinyl at local record stores like Star Records, Upstairs Records and Tower Records. In the late 90’s early 2000’s he converted to CD and spun on CDJ’s. Eventually went digital in 2004 and has been downloading MP3’s ever since.
DJ Alvin C’s specialty is hip-hop and R&B, however, he is also able to cater to practically any crowd. His influences range from Run DMC, LL Cool J to Michael Jackson and Chris Brown.
